The UEFA Champions’ League group stages are at their halfway point with many of the qualification places in each pool up for grabs. With so many teams vying for a place in the latter stages of Europe’s elite competition it promises to be yet another fascinating round of fixtures and here are our Champions’ League predictions.
Manchester United dominate Group A having won their opening 3 matches in this year’s competition – scoring 8 goals and conceding 1 in the process. Their next fixture in the group stages is a home clash against Benfica, a side they squeezed past in October thanks to Marcus Rashford’s controversial winning goal. In terms of Manchester United betting they are 4/11 with Sky Bet to win at home against the Portuguese giants, Manchester United’s odds to win this season’s Champions League are currently 14/1 with Uni Bet whilst domestically Manchester United are 12/1 with Bet 365 to win the Premier League.
Celtic are holding their own in Group B and sit in third place in the standings, behind Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich. Both sides beat Celtic heavily in their opening round of fixtures but the Hoops have an instant chance for revenge in November at Celtic Park with another meeting with the German giants. Celic’s odds are 11/1 with Marathon Bet to pull off a famous victory and keep their hopes of qualification from the group alive.
